I still have Optima cable and I get it, nobody likes Optima any more, but for those that still have it I have a question. Have you tried to watch the NBA Finals or the UFL or for that matter any sports programming lately on channel 9? Both at my home and work it is being broadcast in Spanish language and I am not sure why. Is anybody else having this issue? I have done nothing to change settings on any TV's at either location. The Spanish language commentary is only on the sports programming. That's what makes it confusing to me.

Could be a glitch on their side having Spanish as primary and English as secondary.
Next time you run into the problem try using your SAP options and see if you can change it to English.

Yes, I have the same problem. I also noticed that when watching other shows, I could hear the audio description for blind people. That one seems to have been fixed, but sports broadcasts are still in Spanish.
I'm a Mavs fan and did not know that about KRHD Channel 9. After the pain and suffering of watching the Basketball Finals in the English language, I think watching them in the Spanish language would be a nice respite. I normally watch World Cup Soccer in Spanish even though I don't understand it.

I noticed the same thing when I was in town last week. All sports games on KRHD were in Spanish. And other people I had talked to said that KRHD has been showing all sports in Spanish. Makes no sense! The only choice was to turn to channel 3 (KTRK abc13) which Optimum doesn't carry in HD.
