Well, I consider their lunch portion a dinner portion, and their dinner portion always gives me a leftover lunch. I think the quality is actually pretty good. Definitely better than somewhere like Panda Express and the traditional chinese buffets around town.

Costco hot dog and drink are just unbeatable but ya its not local so if supporting local is the goal, that's not it.

Burger Mojos Thrift shop burger is a pretty decent deal. Burger, fries, and drink for around $8 I think and its good quality. You wont get super full on it, but hey you shouldn't be eating to 100% capacity anyway

That burger is $2.98 on Tuesdays. Pretty good deal for a 1/4 pound burger.

Tacos La Perlita. 2-3 Tacos and some chips. Tacos are 2.99-3.29 each. Chips are free

Siam Iyara. Most of their lunch specials are 9.99 and really good.

I stopped ordering tea or soda at restaraunts now. That 2 to 3 dollar charge for a drink really adds up.

Oh, and if you've got 4 or 5 people, get the sheet pizza at Piasano's. Its so huge you'll still have leftovers and everybody chips in like 5 bucks.

Yep, $7.00 Queso Burrito, without a drink, kinda kills my desire for Pepe's and I've supported them and defended them for a long time.

It's getting very difficult to think that eating out is worth it anymore.

A queso burrito is $5 and comes with a bag of chips. It's a whole meal.

We quite often feed 3 adults and 2 kids there for less than $30.

Flo Pizza in HEB Tower Point - there's a seating area, and big screen TV. 16" pizza for $13.

I beg to differ. Last week, a Queso Burrito was $6.89, not $5.00. I agree on the chips and meal.

That's an insane jump then. 3 weeks ago it was still $4.99

I wonder if it was a mistake after they installed the new POS system.

Cracker Barrel is reasonable for a full meal. Their lunch specials and
early dinner specials are very affordable.

Recently, I paid $8.99 for two large hand breaded chicken breasts with no bones,
mashed potatoes with gravy and a dish of cole slaw plus two corn muffins.
I took half of it home for another meal. I just drank water.

Salad And Go is pretty cheap. It was cheaper but they raised their prices last month.

Laredo Taco Company, inside of 7-eleven but its food. Haven't eaten it in years but I saw a sign for a cheap meal deal.

Whataburger has been giving a survey on its receipts that only require answers like 3 questions. After the survey you get a free Whataburger with the purchase of a drink and medium fries. I end up paying like $4-5.

For one evening, Taco Tuesdays at Rosa's is a great deal ($7.49).

If you download and use apps, McDonalds has $1 french fries or BOGO on double cheeseburger/nuggets/big macs.

Wendy's has the biggie bags - burger, 4 nuggets, small fries and drink. They differ in price depending on the burger but range from $4-6 and if you use their app, you can get a discount. I got 5 biggie bags + crispy chicken sandwich for $22.72 on the app yesterday.

That's Jones Crossing, not tower point. But they even text you coupons- this place is great for feeding a lot of people some above average pizza

Mo's in Century Square does a monthly "Inflation Buster" deal and for this month its $6 chicken tenders and fries, and they had a good sized double cheeseburger (*ETA) plus fries for $5 for May.

Other than that, Burger Mojo, or finding a coupon ... eating out makes no sense to me these days. It's a special occasion for most when HEB has steak on sale and you can grill a $5.99/pound sirloin. Only a dollar more than 80/20 ... even homemade spaghetti is expensive!

I know for a fact the queso burrito used to be around $5 and increased to close to $7 last august. Pretty much the whole menu has increased 35-40% since last August because my normal family meal cost went from $24 to $34 back then.

Walk-Ons buffalo chicken sandwich for $14. It comes with a crazy TWO big ole chicken breasts. Take one breast off and wrap it in a tortilla and you have two meals for $14.

Maria Mia has a two for Tuesday deal that is two two enchilada (chicken, beef, or crawfish) plates + 2 beers or margs for $20.

I haven't been in about a month, but Mr.G's had a good lunch special.

$6.99 for two large slices of pizza (your choice of three toppings) and a drink. I normally take one slice home.

Now, I want pizza.

Garpez behind the CS WalMart. They don't do dinner hours, but their lunch specials are cheap, you can go in the morning for breakfast tacos, and they're local

Didn't know that about MM's! We've only been once when they first opened and before they had happy hour. It was pricier than I would have liked so we haven't gone back.

Is there billiards included too? I remember back in the day when Yesterday's used to have this phenomenal lunch break special. Roast beef sandwich (super generous on the meat), chips, drink, and an hour of billiards for like $7. I'm talking 1994ish.
