MW for tuna salad, deviled eggs, and bologna/cheese sammich. Duke's for everything else. No debating.
This right here! Ham sammies with Miracle Whip is where it's at! My aunt turned me on to MW and peanut butter sammies. Sounds gross, right? I was hesitant, but daaaaaaamn. That chit is good!BCSWguru said:
Miracle Whip on a ham sandwich is very good stuff. Or, a plain Miracle Whip sandwich if you grew up poor. Thumbs way up.
Back in the old days, 50s and early 60s, one of my favorite sandwiches was the 1/2 inch to 3/4th inch thick baloney and MW on homemade sourdough bread. Great stuff!CoachtobeNamed$$$ said:This right here! Ham sammies with Miracle Whip is where it's at! My aunt turned me on to MW and peanut butter sammies. Sounds gross, right? Actually, DoubleE, both Miracle Whip and Mayonaise are used in equal proportions in the "copied" recipe of King's Inn (on Baffin Bay in Riviera, Texas) legendary tartar sauce!
I'm not sure why the hate on Miracle Whip. Many people use it preferably to Mayonaise or interchangeably.
