Does anyone know any history about what looks to have been an old bridge in the Brazos just north of the Hwy 60 bridge? I assume it was an old railroad bridge. I've been searching and cannot even find any mention of it. I was curious if anyone knew when it was built, when it was no longer used, was it a railroad bridge, etc.....

It's listed as Jones Bridge on a 1956 topo map. FM 60 replaced it by the next topo map in 1964.
Edit: It looks like Jones Bridge is also the name of the surrounding community.

Picture from 1957 shows both bridges. Just looks like a normal bridge, no rails leading to it.
