This is shearing off to the northeast. Typical.
black clouds rolling in, from my window looking south is was wild seeing it get dark

Not much rain, but some of the cloud movement on the east side of town was making me a little nervous.
I'm not going to complain this time. I was really afraid I was going to have to move an 8 year old's birthday party inside.
I've already moved my 2 year old's party inside tomorrow. Showing to be 52 with 17mph winds at 11am when it's scheduled.trouble said:

The house will shelter the adults from the wind. The kids won't care.
We'll all be fine regardless of the weather. But at least it looks like we won't get rained on.

The Aggie Dome definitely predates any discussion of climate change.
I know the forecast says rain today and this weekend, but I'm starting to think the dome is just too strong. It looked so dark and gloomy at 8:00 this morning. I saw some lightning and heard claps of thunder. The sky looked ready to open up at any moment. We got nothing and now it's perfectly sunny at my house.

I like to live on the edge, what can I say. NO WEATHER HAPPY HOURS. That will surely mean a severe drought will begin the day after said beverage event. Hard pass.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I never complain or worry about rain here. It's semi tropical humid with over 30 inches annually. Even when we almost hit severe drought it always recovers. It's not really a conversation in my eyes
Moved my son's birthday party from a park to a trampoline park in anticipation of the rain today. With the $400 difference in price, it better rain!
