And now there is zero places in this area to see good live music.
Which means the need for one should be paramount. Ink a deal with House of Blues. A restaurant/venue concept would work.
Dang I miss The Texas Hall of Fame. RIP, Harry's.

I saw Stoney in downtown Bryan three weeks ago. At least 3: Stafford, The Palace, BWD fairly regularly. Not sure if 3rd Floor Cantina (or its successor) is still in biz.

I've always that they could incorporate the strip where Harry's was into the new development. Guess not.

Yes great memories. Lived there 3 nights a week for a couple years. Dave the bar tender was the best.
I saw Cody Canada at the Palace but this was 10 years ago now.
Hate to see this place go. Many memories......

Not that they the same live music venue....but once the Chicken/Dudley's are gone...Aggieland of ole' will be no more.Lex said:

If the old Alberston's on University hadn't been leased by Crunch Fitness that would have been a perfect place for Harry's to relocate. Whatever the old Shadow Canyon/Daisy Duke's is called now should start doing concerts with the artists that played at Harry's. Only other option I can think of would be the old Academy. Building something new would be really expensive but I guess it could be done.

College Station now has Music Friendly Texas Community status. I think we need a new C&W dance hall to open up.
They have the Western Club.
