One source of data says: all collections shift one day.

Their handy dandy phone app says something different. My recycling is supposed to go tomorrow. Is that tomorrow like the app says, or is it Thursday?

According to the CS website and the CS Curbside Collections app, all solid waste and recycling collections are shifted one day this week and next week.

I guess I'm just wondering why they can afford $85k Instagram props, multimillion dollar facilities all around, but can't hire someone that can update their phone app? I should clarify that I get an alert from the app the evening before pickup, and I got one yesterday.

The app is pushing notifications on the regular schedule, but the notifications have a long additional text about everything being a day offset. The app has one job!

If they know the schedule two years in advance, it may be possible to make the app actually do it's one job?

Yeah, I put a complaint in about this too. They put an announcement in about the days shifting but left by the schedule (and the notifications) the same. I go by the notifications and rarely open the app, so totally missed this, as did many of my neighbors.

I've seen microwaves and fridges picked up. I'm guessing that a hot water heater is okay for bulky.

Fridges have to be tagged that the coolant is removed.
