Inherited a 38 inches by 11 1/2 inches wooden Dutch cookie mold. It may have been for display only. Hung on the wall since our family purchased over 1/2 a Century ago.

I wonder if anyone in College Station would bake one or two cookies this size for me?

Your thoughts?

How so?

It is what it is. Do you think a sheet of letter size 8.5x11 paper is oddly sized?

Why? OP said they inherited a cookie mold. Why is the size so suspicious?

You are very defensive about a large cookie mold.

And you are unusually questioning OP's post. Who is more defensive? Just wanting to read your own responses?

Fascinating that giving the length and width dimensions of a wooden Dutch cookie mold can generate a discussion about my motives for specifying the dimensions.

If I posted a "large cookie mold", I didn't think most readers would envision a 3+ feet cookie mold.

I'm not sure all commercial ovens are over 3 feet.

You might need a pizza oven for that thing.

Thank you. Was thinking that might be the way to go.

I just want to see this thing!

I'm not sure who has an oven big enough but I'd start with calls to zeitmans and blue baker

Hullabaloo Diner has a big pizza oven.

I don't know how any of these restaurants will feel about putting wood into a pizza oven. It's worth asking though!
