Anybody remember the name of the jewelry store in college station int he early-mid 90's? It was over near Harry's, but I can't remember the name. Sold coins, tag/brietling watches, and jewelry.

I believe that morphed into the Jewelry & Coin Exchange, and they have now moved down University near Thorn Music.

JD Huntley and then later, David's Jewelry and Coin Exchange. David is still in business, on University Dr. East next to the old Harley's building.

Weird freak accident he died in. From what I remember he went out to his drive way to get the paper , stepped on a nail or some metal, was dead like 3-4 days later.

Originally it was The Texas Coin Exchange, and he was the principal owner... There was another guy named Randy who was a business partner..

Their original location was at 404 University Dive with a branch across from Walmart when Walmart was attached to manor east mall...

I used to collect coins in the 80s... I went there 2-3 times a month with my allowance money.. lol..

Then one day 2 guys robbed the place and shot the manager dead.

after that, it became John D. Huntley's Very Personal Investments.. and then they moved to their location in the Old Skaggs Alpha Beta Center...

Yes.. I'm old.
