From TexAgs Sponsor, TruService Air Conditioning

Howdy! We may be new to being a sponsor here on TexAgs but we are not new to HVAC. We are looking forward to building new relationships with fellow users and exceeding your service expectations.

Tru Service is owned and operated by Caleb and Sarah Truax, Class of 12' and 07' respectively. Tru Service HVAC began in 2016 as a part time venture while Caleb was still employed in a seasonal agricultural business, we then decided to take the business full time in 2017. We were not sure where we were headed when we started this business, but the good Lord has been faithful to provide us amazing customers, reliable employees, and enough work every year.

I have decades of experience in the HVAC industry. My father owned an HVAC business that I spent summers working for in my younger days and then shortly after moving to B/CS in 2003, I got the opportunity to work with Jerry Brewer, then owner of R.M. Mullinix in Bryan. Mr. Brewer mentored me in my growth as a technician, businessman and as a leader.

During the next 9 years as a service technician, my knowledge and skills of the HVAC industry really grew, and I built an even stronger foundation for starting my own business than what I had learned growing up in the business. In spring of 2012, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Systems Management with a minor in Business. I decided to leave HVAC after graduation and went on to use my degree in the cotton industry for a few years. I really enjoyed the time that I got to spend in agriculture, and it still holds a special place in my life.

When I was a kid, I swore I'd never do air conditioning and I'd never own my own business. Funny how neither of those we accurate. My wife and I decided to open this business when we realized that there was a market for honest service and that the sky was the limit for growth potential. To me, owning a small business isn't just about the bottom line, it's about the people. The people we serve, the people we employ, and our community.

We have established our business to prioritize good service with integrity, only selling something that is necessary, and always being straightforward and upfront with our customers. We believe that this is how the company has grown to the size it is without advertising to this point and we are proud of that. It is also why we are now choosing to advertise here with TexAgs, because we feel it's the perfect way to step into our community and share who we are and what we do. Plus, I already spend enough time here, I might as well try to grow my business doing it!

I'm not a perfect person, and my business isn't perfect either. We have faced a lot of growing pains and I have learned a lot along the way. But I believe that what a lot of us are looking for in today's day and age is honest and reliable service, and I can promise you that this is something Tru Service will always stand for.

Our services include annual maintenance contracts, residential service, residential system replacements, residential duct system replacement, commercial service, commercial replacement, and new commercial construction.

We look forward to getting to know you as customers and here on TexAgs as well.

As luck would have it, I had to have AC Service this afternoon for my MIL and called Caleb on short notice. We were fortunate and he worked her in and resolved her problem timely and without issue. It was a pleasure to deal with Caleb and his helper and there is no doubt I will use them again when necessary!! Thanks again to Caleb/TruService AC/Heating for being there.

I've got your number in my phone. You'll be hearing from me.
Question: When is the best time to have annual maintenance? I've always figured as Spring approaches.
