How long do you want to ignore this user?
Live in Castlegate and for the third time this year my yard has been riddle with gas line flags. There is never any reason given although the first time I know was for Frontier fiber line. These stayed in the yards for months and no one ever said if they were finished so we can take them up. The most recent ones were put in due to a request by a line burial company per 811DIG but it has been 10 days and nothing is being done anywhere that I can see.

Anyone else dealing with this? Makes it difficult to mow and looks bad for months.

Pull, mow, replace

I pulled mine after a month. Of course it was fiber and you could tell they where done

Make sure you mark them with biodegradable paint before you mow.

You can get it at lowes.

They utility locate has to be renewed every 2 weeks, so if they are working in the area they will keep showing up until they are done with the work in that immediate area.

Many times the locate area submitted is much larger than the work site, so they show up in seemingly random places. It's a typical CYA move.

You can pull them up and mow and then put them back as long as they go back in the same place.

You know what else looks bad. A dug up lawn, because someone hit a gas line.
