I'm looking for concrete contractor recommendations in Brazos County.
We have two projects that are each 5000+ Square Feet and one that is 2000 Square Feet
The slabs must be constructed and poured to the Engineered Specs
All structures will have 18 foot Piers
Do y'all have any recommendations for contractors with experience with projects like this?

I'd thrown McDermott in the ring as well.

Sanchez Enterprises has done all of our concrete work, including engineered slabs with piers and a large 7,000 sq ft commercial pour. Tikio takes a ton of pride in his work and makes sure the job is done correctly. 903-208-0006.

Thanks for the recommendations.
A lot of the local contractors don't have experience with piers.

I dont remember which ponzi but I had maybe 20 plus piers and no cracks yet and they seemed to know what they were doing

I'm still looking for an insured contractor with experience building engineered slabs with piers.

Several have been presented in this thread. Are they not answering/providing quotes? They're possibly covered up with work.

I had a handful of foundation contractors initially bid on the projects. However, after looking at the plans, they said that the piers were too deep for their capabilities. Another one of the contractors recommended did not have insurance. I ended up with one contractor that could complete the job, but really wanted a few bids before making my choice. I appreciate the additional recommendations.

Every concrete contractor I've worked with, including a handful of those referenced in this thread, will sub out their pier drilling. They'll typically only handle stuff that can be completed with an auger on a skid steer, such as light pole bases. There is a local pier drilling company that can handle anything (they did Kyle Field, for instance).

It sounds like the ones you've talked to may not want the work.

Yes When the ponzis did mine they came recommended by my expensive architect and there was a drilling company that came out and drilled holes and the engineer had to sign off on piers

I think he is wanting insured and I really dont know if my concrete guy was insured or not

Who knows why it aint working but I guess speculation is what tex ags do best. Ha

I'm going to guess my recommendation (Sanchez) is the one who wasn't insured. That may or may not surprise me, I'm not sure. I do know he does excellent work and makes sure it's done the right way, no matter what. So I'll keep using him for commercial projects regardless of that.

For the house we did that had piers, a drilling company came out and punched the tiers. 21 of them down to 22ft. Be he took care of all those arrangements, including passing along the engineered plans, handling all of the locating for them on-site, rebar/cabling, etc.

The idea that a contractor outsources nothing is pretty far fetched as it relates to reality. The job can be done right even if another outfit does something specific within the scope, as the poster above alludes to.
