Overall it's gone downhill since they sold

But here later it the local locations have been awful
Slow as can be, orders wrong , awful

The Tower Point location by lowes specifically …

Yesterday saw two vehicles leave the drive thru because they were taking so long

The last few times I've gone I've left due to the wait. 2 cars in front me, 20+ minutes. No way. The food is no longer worth it. Sad, deflated looking burgers, sometimes not even hot when I get it. It's insane. Just not worth it anymore. If in tower point and want a fast food burger I'll head over to Freddy's.

Not just B/CS. They've gone significantly downhill everywhere. Combine that with the price increases and it's just not somewhere I go to very often anymore. Sucks.

Pro tip: Order through the app and do curbside to avoid long waits. Doesn't make the food any better though.

I've noticed it too. I believe most industries are facing staffing challenges and it appears to me that the fast food restaurants have been hit the hardest.

Went to the whataburger by lowes

Made my order, pulled to outside lane sat and waited forever. They brought me food , I opened the bag and shuffled the food around and realized it was not mine.
The worker came back to my car and took the bag and delivered it to another vehicle.
I asked the worker - " you're gonna give that to them"? .. Their food was in my car . I opened the bag and reached inside , removed the fries and touched the burger.

Yeah I get it's wrapped but if you give the wrong bag to wrong car and it goes inside someone else's car and they open the bag … that order should be tossed and remade

It's funny that advertise family owned. It is an investment house in Chicago.

Also, many server put their fingers into dishes/plates as they serve.

Yeah but by law they must have food handlers cards

Once it goes into someone else's vehicle that's not approved by the health department and my hands are all over it where you don't know where they have been and I don't have a food handler card

Should 100% been remade

Last time I went to a lackluster whataburger was in Seguin 2-3 years ago. We were trapped in line for 45 minutes with no way to escape. The time before that was the RP location, it took 20 minutes at 11:30pm with only 2 cars in front of us.

Never again.

I've been there. Was able to bail before I got trapped and ran to Chicken E down the road.

Ours suck. I rarely eat fast food anymore, but Freddy's is my go to for a fast food burger.

I was at tower point location.

Waiting in drive thru forever.. they came to truck and Told me they lost my order after I've already waited over 20 minutes . Mind you this was just for a small whataburger combo. Nothing big or special
I said just give me a refund .. worker told me I needed to go inside to get refund
So I went inside and manager refunded my order then told me to wait she needed to re-ring in my order and have me sign the receipt. I told her I've wasted enough time and turned around and walked out.
She yelled at me " Don't ever come back"

Laughed as I walked out , will never go back

Similar experience. I ordered on the app for the TP location, checked in, and waited. After 20 minutes, I went inside. My order was bagged and ready to go. But the woman behind the counter said she was alone up front and couldn't leave to register unattended to bring it out to me.

It's really sad to hear the demise of a great brand but I've experienced much of the same. Our family has given up on the location in Burleson and experienced the same thing in Reston, LA. You walk in and people are standing around anxious about ever getting their order. Getting your food can easily take 20 to 30 minutes. The workers look lost trying to keep up with the dine-in crowd, the drive through, and the app orders. The competition in Texas is too great now to rest on nostalgia. When you have places like Culver's and In-N-Out in town that can do it well you wonder how Whataburger can dig themselves out.

Is it the lady in the skirt? I had the opposite. I went inside just to get a tea. She gathered orders and took them out to curbside while I waited to order.

Whataburger has been overrated for years.

Fitch/6 location is among the worst. Friend witnessed someone getting out of their vehicle after being delivered the wrong food three times and throwing it back at the drive-thru window.

Agree here. I feel like this location offers everything I've ever expected from Whataburger.

I tried complaining one time on the website about the TP location. I told them they needed a new manager. They just sent the complaint to the same manager who called me and offered a free Whataburger. I don't think that location will be fixed anytime soon.

TP is the worst Whataburger location I have visited. Get used to long wait times, wrong orders, and cups with overflow beverage running down the side from the TP location. All the other Whataburger locations in B/CS are significantly better.

I will finish up a Lowe's trip around lunchtime on Saturday and drive to the RP Whataburger. That's how bad the TP location is.

Just did a drive thru @ Rock Prairie. There were 4 cars in front of me. From the time I pulled up, placed order and got my food, it was 5 minutes and 6 seconds. That included about 20 seconds to wait for the guy in front of me to hand stuff to his kids in the back seat!

And food was piping hot!!

I got stuck at the TP WB and after 25 minutes would have left but once you are in the drive through you cannot bail out. Freddies and Texas Burger for me

The one on Rock Praire is AWFUL! Never know if you will get everything you ordered and food does not taste of
Whaterburger of old times. Waiting takes forever and staff seems to just have walked off the street. The issue is the managers of restaurants now. They don't manage their restaurants anymore. Hire literally anybody and don't hammer down on training and run a tight ship. I guarantee most restaurants don't even do backgrounds checks on people anymore.
