$1,725-$3,095 depending on the floor plan. My wife is the director there and has been in the industry a long time. She is a wealth of knowledge about all things senior living in the BCS area, and loves giving recommendations to find the right fit for people's families.

Yikes!
I'm sure that is reasonable, just not ready to spend that. (It will probably look more reasonable the longer she lives with us...kidding... kinda...)

Does that include any meals? That low end seems unreasonable in this market.

Sodalis is NOT the place to go if you have a family member that needs dependent living.
My mom had dementia associated with Parkinson's disease. My dad put her there because he couldn't physically care for her anymore (they were both in their 80's).
Right away, we noticed things were not right (not changing clothes or bed sheets regularly).
She was there less than 2 weeks and had to be taken to the ER twice.
Dad pulled her out and took her home.
State board came there & did an investigation on them because one of my sisters filed a complaint on Sodalis and we found out that they were giving mom tranquilizers without the family's knowledge or permission because she would walk the halls incessantly and they were also administering about 20% of the required dosages of her prescribed meds for her Parkinson's.
Fortunately for my parent's, the family found a place in Katy that did a much better job of caring for mom until she passed in March of '22.
Somalis May be ok for assisted living but be wary of them if any family member has special needs.

She needs to go recruit people in Georgetown and Round Rock that are being priced out of their independent living facilities. I just finished a search for my mom and it was hard to find anything there for less than $3,500 a month.

Most independent living communities in this area are an average of about $3000/month. Hudson Oaks is completely independent. The low end, $1,725, gets you a one bedroom apartment, all appliances (including w/d), continental breakfast, transportation if needed, a weekly catered social lunch, several educational and recreational activities planned by our activity director, maintenance free living, paid cable and internet, and more. High end is a two bedroom cottage with a direct access, attached garage. I'd be happy to share any other information or give any information about different independent, assisted or skilled communities in the area. You can reach me, Juliet, at jcockrell at nemanagement dot net. I'm happy to help!

Thank you! That definitely answers a lot of questions right up front!

Good info! People need to be aware that most independent living facilities provide all three daily meals (up to a set dollar amount). So, we may not be comparing apples. But your facility offers a good alternative for some.

While we have you, do you have any information on what restaurants and businesses have leased space in the retail buildings they are building in front of you Hudson Oaks?
