I had thought I had posted this before but could not find it and I am local to BCS

I started about 10 years ago and I can appraise or just give advice if you do not want to sell and just keep for grandkids

I can also advise on mistakes I have made to any youngsters getting into coin collecting (have lots of throw away money )

Maddiedou came to look at my grandfather's coin collection of which I had zero knowledge. He was honest and taught me quite a bit about coins in the process.

That referring to uncirculated bills. Even those of us with a bunch of $2s don't have uncirculated ones.

Maybe

I had elder relatives that used to give them to us as gifts when we were kids. One uncle would get a cord of $2 bills and give them out over time.

Not sure if the batch he would get were circulated or not. They always looked new to me.

I'm sure some of my cousins still have theirs.

I have about seventy five 3, 5, 10 and 25 cent fractional notes issued from 1862-1876 that I have collected in various conditions. Have they increased in value at all in the past few decades?

First nobody will give you but maybe 5-10 for a 2 dollar bill unless it has been graded

Even if it has never been circulated does not mean it will grade at 67

Also if you look it is signed by marin/snow only 16,000 were made. Low serial number. And a star

Now there is a big difference between 63 and 67 in price but in looks they will almost look the same

I personally cannot tell in coins or bills above ms60 They all look perfect to me but that is why you send to PCGS

If you have them "lying around", they're probably not going to appraise very high.

Maddie, I'm a collector of foreign coins, worldwide before 1946 and British Empire before 1954. If you ever have an interest in unloading some (or anybody else for that matter), please let me know. 979 - two one 8 - 7 zero 9 eight.

They don't have to be particularly rare or valuable; I still carry a childhood love for British Empire "large cents".

Just want to give a shout out to Maddiedou - great guy, honest as the day is long, and knows his you-know-what when it comes to coins, growing tomatoes, fireworks, remodeling bathrooms, and I'm sure a bunch of other stuff.

Specifically regarding coins, he came over to look at my grandfather's collection that I inherited and gave me an honest assessment of what I had.

My mom cleaned out their safe deposit box and I would like for you to look through it if possible to see what the value is. The value is probably just the silver content, but you never know.

Pretty nice Buffalo Nickel. Worth 2 or 3 dollars I think. Never see them in circulation and full dates are pretty uncommon.

And this is no excuse. But I have 80 residents with my cell phone I have probably 5 text a day about preleasing until I get leased for this year

I work for 7 complexes and then texags
