How long do you want to ignore this user?
My mom just bought a house in College Station. I'd like to get someone to install a NEMA 14-50 plug so that I can charge my car when I visit. Would be a very short run from breaker box.

Any suggestions for someone that would do quality work at a reasonable price?

+1 for Elite. Had our breaker box get flooded during a crazy rain storm one evening. Called them in the morning and they came out same day with fix to hold me over until they could get parts shipped in. Great group.

Left voice mails for both those companies. Any idea what to expect price-wise in College Station? Current Breaker box has plenty of room , and the run would be somewhere in the 6-12 foot range on the wall from breaker box.

I paid Dailey Electric $873 to install a Tesla wall connector a couple of years ago. The breaker box was full in my garage so they had to run conduit up the ceiling, across the attic, and then back down to the outside breaker box. I suspect your install will be much less involved than that so it should cost much less. And don't forget that you can get a tax credit for ev charger and installation so you might consider going all the way.

got one estimate so far. To be specific, this is for a 240v NEMA 14-50 plug.

Location is RIGHT NEXT TO THE BREAKER BOX, which has room.

Quote was almost exactly what you paid for a lot more work. Needless to say, I'm getting other quotes.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions.
