Does anyone have recommendations of where I can purchase some decently priced bamboo that is taller than 5+ feet? From looking online, I'm looking to spend close to $1,000 to have some shipped.

what KIND of bamboo? THere's hundreds..

The clumping variety. Preferably one that is non-invasive.

I got a chunk of the kind that grows like 40 ft in a month or something.. and the stalks are about 6-10 inches diameter... and non invasive... but its small and I've been keeping it from growing because Im not 100% sure I like it where it is...

I got it from a place in houston that sells them... but If I can find a bit thats breaking off we can talk... but it'll take a while to get it to grow big.

Caldwell Nursery in Rosenberg has an extensive selection of bamboo for sale.
Plus they have it growing in their display gardens so you can see what it looks like fully grown.

Steve Carter grows it for them, he's a bamboo enthusiast.

May want to verify their hours first before going there. The long term owner, CayDee Caldwell recently passed away from cancer. Her husband is still in mourning and cut back on hours.
