There's another stretch off Democrat Lane I think, right before the Navasota. You're on pavement and then gravel all of a sudden. I always thought maybe flooding had something to do with it. Dunno.

I think it has something to do with property owners on one side or both not ceding right of way to allow a wide enough lane.
