I'll post one last reply to cover some history of Hullabaloo Diner. I purchased the property in 2003 and shortly after found the diner that was scheduled to be demolished in New York. It took me awhile to get it moved to Texas due to it's size (16 ft wide x 80 ft long - including low boy truck & trailer). By 2004 it was on site at the property in Wellborn. I had started two businesses there prior to the diner arriving - The Dessert Depot and The Baggage Emporium (Antiques). My dessert supplier at Sysco Foods told me about Rich Risbon and that he was looking for a place to bring "East Coast" food to the area. We were introduced and the deal was made on a handshake (no paperwork has ever been transacted between the two of us all these years). Rich and Sydney have done a great job running the diner since 2005 and I hope despite the hit from COVID that they will continue to do well. That's the history in a nutshell... Oh, and no relation to Schulte Roofing.
