Repair sunken driveway section

Over the years, one end of the first section of our driveway (in CS) has sunk approximately 2.5 - 3 inches, thus creating a bump when driving on the driveway. It has gradually gotten worse (no cracks involved).

I have watched a couple of youtube videos about repairing this type of problem, which involves drilling some holes through the sunken end of the driveway section and pumping two chemicals into the holes. The chemicals react, expand and harden into a foam-like material, elevating the sunken part of the driveway section back to where it should be. It's pretty impressive how they do this. Apparently, sometimes a jack is used as well.

If you know of any companies in Bryan/College Station that do this kind of work (and do it well of course), I'd appreciate any info that you have.

Thank you.

I've heard a company advertising that solution on WBAP in DFW. Can't remember their name…

You can google concrete lifting companies. We've done our sidewalk in Sugar Land and it works well with drilling holes and the injection of whatever they use. Hasn't move in years. 12 of our neighbors went in at the same time and they reduced the cost of the truck to come out.

Edited to remove link I'd googled

Quick search turned up this company in CS good luck! https://collegestationconcreterepairandleveling.com/

The website looks super-suspicious but reverse searching the phone number indicates it's just one guy with a truck.

Anchor Foundation Repair does this. They've repaired some projects for me, including a customer's sidewalk that had the same sort of issue. It was complicated by the fact that the sidewalk curves around a tree, and they were able to line up the sections back to the way they were originally poured.

I'd also try to determine where the soil underneath is going, allowing the driveway to sink. It may not be anything major, but it might be good to make sure you don't have any sewer, sanitary or storm sewer (depending where you live) that is cracked and carrying soil away as it rains.

I second Anchor Foundation Repair, we had an issue where our deck between the pool and back porch settled over the years and was about 2 inches down. This was a trip hazard so they came out drilled holes, did the injection, raised the deck and all was good.

Thanks for all the kind words and recommendations.

There are two proven methods to raise sunken concrete surfaces.

Here's a quick read on the pros and cons of poly-jacking vs. mud-jacking.

Since we only offer mud jacking, I'll also include a short article on what the driveway raising process looks like with our technique.

Thank you all for all of the feedback (including Anchor Foundations), much appreciated. Possible/infrequent leak under the driveway?... yes, will continue trying to identify this.
