That was the first location of a Putt Putt golf in BCS, and across the street was an A&W hamburger place back in the late 60's and early 70's.

There was a doughnut shop on the west side of Texas Avenue until the mid-2000s. That was the "Dutch Kettle Snack Bar" originally (and later a Schlotzsky's). The A&W root beer stand was where Fairfield Inn is now.

There was Garden Golf outside of the theater at Manor East Mall.

Grand Station used to have a mini golf where the skating rink was previously. Not really big enough to count through probably.

This thread got me thinking back.. I know I remember playing on a little par 3 golf course here in town back in the mid-late 90's, but I can not remember where in the hell it was?? Anybody remember?

There was one behind the hotel and ninfas next to the creek on 6 near university

Loved that place! But I think there was more oil than water in that pond.

We were just talking about this last night. We were here in the early 90's and played that course. It had lights so you could play at night.

We are living back here now and we're driving to dinner last night a d tried to remember where it was.

Didn't remember it having mini golf, too. Nice little course, though, for when you didn't have much time.

I'm not certain of it, but glancing at Google Maps, the Aggieland Cycling shop there looks like it's actually the same building/parking lot as Putt Putt so it may not have even been torn down. Wasn't it Paradise Scuba before the bicycle shop?

I worked at Putt Putt in Arlington in the late 80s. That one had (3) 18 hole mini golf courses and a huge arcade.

EDIT: Corrected guesses about Greensworld after seeing the post above mine. Should always read through and then post. LOL
