Just a thought. Wouldn't it be great if a SuperTarget Moved into Post Oak Mall? There is enough spce.

Well, with this well thought out response..
Just call it a super duper Target and take over the whole mall.
It wouldn't make any sense from Target's perspective. There is a Target on Holleman 2 miles away and a Super Target 3-4 miles away that is on the bypass.

If a new Target comes to BCS, it would likely end up in the Tower Point area to keep a good distance between them.
Also- has anyone seen the changes in the Briarcrest Target? I really like it!

It has a pretty decent grocery selection. Like, I sometimes just go there for my groceries because it's easier. They have fresh fruit and vegetables, decent meat selection, good frozen selection, really good beer selection, and pretty good dry/canned goods.
They are expanding the inside a bit, and rearranging things to make it make more sense.

Both Targets here are just regular Targets. They all have a little bit of grocery offerings but a Super Target would have a full fledged grocery side, like the CS Walmart.
The only thing that can save Post Oak Mall is a Nordstrom.

I'd like Word Market to go in somewhere at Post Oak Mall. I'm still sad it went away.
Since Target just posted a 52% loss in profit for the first quarter of this year, I don't see them opening a lot of stores.
It isn't a Super Target. The SuperTargets were closer to 150k square feet (as opposed to closer to 100k as the local stores are) and had a full grocery department with meats/deli/etc.Stupe said:

Several years ago Target announced that they would be essentially phasing out the SuperTarget name and started blurring the lines with additional fresh food options.
It might get worse. I know people that didn't think that the bathroom thing was a big deal that are going to stop shopping there.
