Looking for recommendations for local contractors to build a retaining wall in my backyard.

I'm in a corner lot in Pebble Creek. My side yard slopes down in order to reach the sidewalk/street.
It should be about 75 ft long and with the dig/fill about 4' tall.
Any ballpark estimates to what I should expect at for cost?

Is there a reason that the HOA would not let me do this? Should I even ask?

Previous thread search didn't populate useful results.

Looking forward to the recommendations and feedback.

No idea of the cost but I would most assuredly get approval from the HOA in Pebblecreek.

You may want to call a landscaper to discuss the backfill and drainage first. I would call Doug McBride. He is the best. He can put you in touch with the other subs you need. I've heard some horror stories in town about retaining walls collapsing and also about retaining walls causing massive drainage issues.

If it's in your backyard, and behind a fence, they shouldn't have any problems. Run it by the ACC (Architectural Control committee) first. Another thing to keep in mind is easements.
