It amazes me every year as a thread like this pops up on this website followed by the same group of haters.
More and more people from all over Texas and the world travel to Santa's Wonderland (and College Station) each and every year, but some locals want to complain because they can no longer drive thru for 20 bucks a car load.
Santa's Wonderland hires thousands of people each year, bring hundreds of thousands of new visitors to town that spend money in our businesses, support dozens of local charities, yet it still isn't good enough.
How about we just celebrate the massive success of this long-time local business that has done more to put College Station on the map than anything other than Texas A&M.
Thank you Santa's Wonderland.
This was from last year and they seem to be growing each year.coleasterling said:I'm not trying to be argumentative, nor do I have anything against SW, but where'd you get the hundreds of thousands visitors number? That's...a lot.bcschamp365 said:

No problem at all
They have done a great job of commercializing Christmas while making you wait hours to spend even more money. Some people call that fun but it's just not my cup of tea to pay $50 a person to go wait in line, and then pay more to wait less in line while surrounded by 6-8,000 people. To each there own

We go Christmas eve every year, family tradition now
Impressive, thanks! I wonder how they are counting that. Just visitors through the gate? Online ticket sales data? Either way, lots of people.Captn_Ag05 said:This was from last year and they seem to be growing each year.coleasterling said:I'm not trying to be argumentative, nor do I have anything against SW, but where'd you get the hundreds of thousands visitors number?
