As crowded as it always is, appears the market easily bears $200 for family of 4.
It may not appeal to everyone at that price, but they definitely have a money printing service

To the best of my knowledge, no it's not.
I had free passes a couple years ago. As I left, me and the girlfriend at the time both said "yeah... I wouldn't pay for that"
It's cool and I'm sure kids would love it. But for the price? Hard pass.

Best dates are before Thanksgiving or after Christmas. Best days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Best times are as early as possible or when it's cold and rainy.
$30 per vehicle.

Weeknights will be less crowded. If you can get there early enough to park on the same side of highway 6, that makes things a lot easier (it may require a parking pass, I can't remember). The shuttle that picks up at the flea market adds 30 minutes at least coming and going. If you have young kids, they will not be happy about the wait to get back on the shuttle after you leave.

Yeah it brings in a lot of revenue to BCS for sure, which is a really good thing for all of us. We have passes from last year and didn't use them because of the pandemic. We were told they were good for this year. Do you just show up at the gates with those old passes, or do you have to convert them to this years passes?
I don't get it either. It's not my kind of thing so I just stay away as much as possible during the busiest days. I don't care how other people spend their money. I'm sure I spend mine on things that would make a bunch of people shake their heads.

More and more people from all over Texas and the world travel to Santa's Wonderland (and College Station) each and every year, but some locals want to complain because they can no longer drive thru for 20 bucks a car load.

How about we just celebrate the massive success of this long-time local business that has done more to put College Station on the map than anything other than Texas A&M.

Couldn't agree with you more, @bcschamp. I see this as akin to living next to Disneyworld. I'm sure there are pieces that suck, but the economic benefit makes it a big win. This is coming from a guy that waxes nostalgic for the days of seeing how many of my Aggie buddies and our dates we could stuff in the back of a pickup truck and drive through for $10.bcschamp365 said:

Now if Santa's Wonderland could just do something akin to Disney's deal for Florida residents - maybe something mutually beneficial on multi-day passes that get you in on off-peak days for a fraction of the cost.

My kids had a great time last year, my daughter loved the outdoor ice skating rink, both loved the petting zoo and the kids area just down from the skate rink.
