Has anyone had their home appraised lately? Just curious if they're keeping up with the market since they're (at least partially) based on comps.

Marty Cangelose has been doing it a long time about 500 for a bank appraisal

Just got one done and yes, it actually came in more than the market around the subject property
Thanks. That's what I was curious about.
We had one done in early April and I think it was very close to what we would expect to sell for based on the current market and houses selling around us (ours was for a refinance though). Ours was done by Brazos Valley Appraisals. I've used Cangelose on prior homes. No complaints on either of them.
