Fifth "C". Chuck is the man. He built a custom engagement and bridal set for my lovely wife nearly 11 years ago. I have used his services for other things since. Always a great experience!

I bought stones from a diamond broker then provided those, along with some broken gold, to an independent jeweler in Dallas. Ended up costing me about 8% of the appraised value.

I will say the website has gotten more hokey since I used it back in 2015. But that education tab is worth a read. It'll give you recommendations on where to spend on the 4 c's depending on your budget and setting style. (Like if you're using a gold band, don't pay for super clear diamond since it'll get a gold cast from the setting anyway).

If you're into conflict free diamonds, brilliantearth.com sells lab manufactured diamonds. They are certified to a level lower than GIA certification though, so take their numbers with a grain of salt.

Chuck does excellent work and is reasonably priced. But, don't expect any repair work or insurance valuations, etc. from him. I waited a year on his "to-do" list and ended up going elsewhere. This was on jewelry that he made for me.

He's a great guy and does good work, but he's lost my future business.

Have always had great service at both Montelangos and Christies in the mall.

Chucks a great guy too. But Christie's in the mall are great folks too. Been using them for years as well.

Christie's has done very well for us. Made a few purchases with them and have left happy every time.
