I need to bring my Westie in somewhere for the first time to get groomed. Anyone have someone or somewhere they would recommend in BCS? Thanks!

Is Hollywood hounds taking new clients? I wanted to get my two poodle mixes groomed by them recently and was told they didn't have room for new clients.
I need a new groomer for my two dogs. Waggie pet zone does a great job but my dogs always act strange when I pick them up and they never want to walk to the back. Other grooming places I have been just don't do a good job for the amount they charge. But at least my dogs leave in a happy mood. Just not sure where to go anymore

There are some really great groomers here in b/cs. It'll kinda depend on what exactly you're looking for. Early morning/late evening appointments will be one of the big shops (Petsmart/petco), weekends are the same or Lucky Dog, basic shave down with no real breed look you can go anywhere, show level grooming (breed standard look) you'll need one of the 2 Master Groomers in town, cheap won't be good and good won't be cheap so if you're not particularly picky look for someone cheap. Mobile will cost on average $20-$40 more than salon and several of them aren't taking any new clients. Some shops you drop off in the morning and leave all day while others are done in an hour or two. Give me a few more details and I can point you in the right direction.

We've used them for years and are always happy with their work.

I like Fabulous Fur on 29th street in Bryan, and the groomer at Waggie Pet Zone in CS.

We use Fabulous Fur in Bryan as well for nail trims & ear cleaning

Our pups are short-haired though so can't speak to grooming, but one of my pups is a screamer when it comes to his nails and Fabulous Fair handles him really well.

Fabulous Fur has done the best job looks-wise with my poodle mix. But since I work regular hours during the wook, I prefer the convenience of a place that allows early morning drops and does pickup in the afternoon. That way, my entire saturday isn't centered on driving my dog around or waiting to find out when they're done. For that kind of service, you can go to Waggie Pet Zone. My dog doesn't look as "fabulous" but she LOVES going there and will walk right on in the front door without trying to immediately turn around.
