My son really wants to see a sunset/sunrise.. where in town is a good place to view one? Preferably where we can park and stay in the vehicle if it's cool outside.

Do you want an urban or rural sunrise/sunset?

For urban, west campus garage isn't a bad spot. The sun rises over Kyle Field.
