What renewal? You don't need to take a class to renew, just send in your money.

There used to be a renewal class, but not anymore.

You use to be required to take 4 hours of training for CHL renewal. This changed I think a session before the open carry was passed

I said "I've used ..." - past tense. For years we had to renew our CCL every four years. You totally missed the point.

I took my class at Burdett & Son, next to Raising Canes. The target portion was out at Gunsmoke. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the class didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. When we'd ask real world scenario questions, the answers were mostly opinionated. I've learned more from shooting the breeze w/police officers I know. Actually, I became a member of Texas Law Shield and their presentation included a police officer & attorney that deals w/people who have had to use their weapon.
