Which banks have the best customer service in the B/CS area? Any recommendations for banks best interest rates too?

We have always been pleasantly surprised by how nice the service is at the Chase branch at Tower Point (William D. Fitch Pkwy). These days I am not sure you will get much in the way of interest from any bank.
Aggieland CU. Been happy with them for the last 20 + years.
Brenham National Bank has good customer service. They also have free Blue Bell ice cream in the lobby again.
Been with Brenham National Bank for a little over a year now. It's been a pleasure. Very nice folks.
The bank and trust and Brenham are the local banks. Prosperity but only the branch on Wellborn (tell Mary hello) at least started local. Aggieland is local CU option with access from other CU's around state, but their online banking gets complaints here.
I have Prosperity (account I opened in 1978 when coming to school) and BankTBT (basically where all the original FNB people I knew went, and they are fine.
My kids have their old local account and keep most of their money in SIMPLE

BBT has been good to me on the business end recently.

Looking at the CD rates for all the bank's listed, none seem very good at all. Wonder if any bcs banks have good rates anymore.

Since the fed will pay them to borrow from them why would they want to pay to use yours.

I was a big fan of First Victoria and when Prosperity bought them out, I thought sure I was NOT going to like it. I'm one of those people that sort of hates change. I intended to switch banks before the transition even took place, but luckily I am The Queen of Procrastination! I have been pleasantly surprised to find that I like Prosperity just as much.

Guaranty Bank (G Bank). They have a money market account that pays 1.20%. That's more than any CD. We've had an account there for 2 years. They also gave us an awesome loan for our business at an unbeatable rate.
