FINALLY..
First measurable rain in almost 3 weeks in Quail Run area. So far about 1.75" It was getting really seriously dry out here. Amazing how quick the lawn is soaking up the rain.

Not in the Tower Point area. We got so much this morning that the satellite had a couple of issues for about 30 minutes and the ground was soaked.

Meh. Studioone and his antih20 cohorts have been secretly flying dome fortification supplies and desiccants over Chapel Hill toward the Brazos Valley for the the last 2 weeks. The dome will be ready. The dome will stand strong. Harvey meet Moses. Dome gonna split that little storm like it's the Red Sea.

If 16 inches of rain happens, we might be having some very sad and sobering threads next week.

That said, Accuweather has just under 4 inches total, which would be nicer.
