My company needs a translator that is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

We can not use a student on a work visa because, as I was told, they can not
have jobs that are not related to their field of study.
Was actually hoping for a grad-level, or higher, individual or local professional
as long as they are fluent in both languages.

We have called the Consulate but their guy is incredibly expensive.

This would mostly be face to face translations with some translating of documents in
and around the Houston area. We would compensate for time and travel.

Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.

The nail salon on University near Texas Roadhouse, wings and more,metc is full of Vietnamese who speak passable engrish. They are a nice bunch of hard working folks. Some commute from Houston. They can help fir sure....
