Moving NE in the area of Steep Hollow heading toward Kurten. Looks like rotation may have dissipated but Bryan PD indicates visual confirmation it DID touch down (not just radar indicated).
Tree, traffic lights, and roof damage along University.
Lots of power out in Bryan.
Highway 6 at Briarcest is shut down due to damage/debris.

If you're not watching KBTX on TV or online, you should be. They're doing a good job tracking this weather.

I'm in El Paso with a coworker, and his house is in that area. Anything damage around Western St? Sounds like his house was just off the path between Boonville and Miramount

Reports of another strong storm forming in Burleson County. More rain/lightening headed towards B/CS.
I live in wheeler ridge and the tornado struck pretty damn hard. I will try to post pictures later. In a comms blackout sorta with no power. Hoping no one got hurt.
Also, don't be like me. I was in my bedroom watching the rain and saw it come over my house. Never thought I would see the inside of a tornado. I was the idiot with my face pressed against the window staring at this thing as it went over my house.
Though in my defense From looking at rain, to tornado, to it tearing through my backyard and beyond was about 4 seconds. I got the weather alert about 20 seconds After it passed. Finicky things, tornadoes...not too much damage except blown over trees in backyard and a large limb that arrowed through the roof into the garage. From walking around I got pretty damn lucky.
