That was a fun surprise at ticket time.
I call our order in and pick it up at the bar. I've yet to go through the drive thru. Hopefully the discount is still good if you walk in.

Drive thru for Strawberry Tarts is dangerous!
Seems like the wait would be long for entree items. But very cool for tarts!

Yep, missed that also when we ate in the dining room...
Fyi we're only offering a limited menu at the drive through that is conducive to expedient service. The entire menu is available if called in ahead of course.
You could have a drive-thru strictly for tarts and I'd be totally fine with this.
Also the drive thru closes at 8. No tarts for us last night. :-(

Bar and lounge specific specials are very commonplace at restaurants of our size in larger cities

I hate that they started putting that chocolate at the bottom of their strawberry tarts. I hate chocolate so I can't ever have one now.

The tarts have had Belgian chocolate since their inception in 1989 fyi.
And contrary to Greg D's yelp review, the pastry cream is made from scratch and we do have a pastry chef.

Now that I think about it, I would like to have a discussion with Greg D anyway. He spews quite a bit of speculative random chatter that's incorrect.

I used to get sandwiches delivered to the old Scott and white all the time. Wonder if he was one of our guys!
i like CE as a whole, and i love desserts. but the tart to me is the most overrated menu item in BCS.

So on Wednesday can you order pizza at lunch, but sit in the bar/lounge instead of the dining room to get the $5 off a pizza if you do not order any alcohol? I've never been there, so not sure how it's laid out.

for the record I do tip the bar when I pick up a pizza (at the bar to go). Obviously drive thru is different b/c they're trying to put butts in seats in the bar area (via specials).
Also have to give a thumbs up to the bloody mary bar Saturdays and Sundays! it's basically a build your own bloody mary bar.

The bar and lounge don't require an alcohol purchase.
BREWmaster, thank you on the Bloody Mary bar. We've really had great feedback on it. The flavored mimosa bar is really getting popular now too!
