Yes wouldn't it be nice to see a detailed thread on faculty and staff improvements too? But everyone loves expensive bright shiny things...
I like my meager pay, it makes me live a humble life. It is refreshing to not have to worry about the latest movies, eateries, who's hot, who's not, driving a ' car ' that runs on ' gas ' , having a ' nice house ' or wearing ' non broken shoes ' .
You do not need material things. You do not need to be respected. Let it go and embrace that it has all been thought of for you. No matter what happens in your life, there will always be enough room in a TAMU parking garage for you to make a home in, after all, you are part owner.
