How long do you want to ignore this user?
My wedding is the most important day of my life and to have this horrible experience has left me very upset.

Horrible customer service! I emailed regarding pipe and drape. I was quoted a price of 135 plus tax and I was like super! I called and worked out the details with Robert Ghosio. He didn't respond to any phone calls or emails for over 2 weeks. I called and left a message and Wade, the owner, finally called my coordinator and informed my coordinator they couldn't do the pipe and drape for that price. I had cancelled other things for my decorations for my wedding in 90 days. I emailed Wade and asked him to call me so we could find a solution. He never called me. I called him and he had a poor attitude for someone who OWNS a business. I explained to him how I have the email of the pricing and everything and he wouldn't hear it. I told him that this is poor customer service and not how you run a business and I would be sure to let other brides know. He threatened me with attorney action for leaving reviews about his business. I'm not LYING. I'm speaking 100% truth. Beware of him, because they will lie to you in WRITING and then tell you oops just kidding sorry! And not do anything to help you, and not even communicate.

So if anyone knows anyone besides RDM that does Pipe and Drape please let me know! Thank you

What was the price they WOULD honor?

None. They said they couldn't even do my wedding because they didn't have the staff and they are going through a transition.

We had Livewire do our wedding in September of 2012. We were more than impressed with their customer service, professionalism, and product.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but maybe some issues could be attributed to misunderstanding. Usually people get hasty and blame the business when in reality it is a product of a misunderstanding by both parties. On the other hand, maybe the "transition" has compromised their ability to operate a sucessful buisness. Just my $0.02.

We had Livewire do our wedding in 2009. Wade was our dj. We loved it. We still get compliments on the music and "games" he organized. My cousins even used them for their wedding two years later. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully you can find someone else quickly and this was a one time problem with them.

Yeah I understand where y'all are coming from but the only problem is there was emails back and forth with a picture of the exact thing I wanted in my exact venue.

It's just disappointing to have a business owner yell and threaten legal action just for leaving a review. That's the purpose of review websites IMO.

I think we found a solution to get this taken care of!

Wade and his crew with Livewire did all the uplights, DJ, MC, ceremony music and pipe/drape for our wedding in 2013. Can't say enough good things about them. They were definitely not the cheapest around but it was worth every penny.

my 2 cents..

I've seen them wander up and down the dance floor with a microphone and talk for 5 minutes about their business (at a wedding)…. and i know they play games… one of which is having all the bridesmaids sit in chairs for the groom to feel their legs and guess which one is the bride…

both of which i find to be very inappropriate for a wedding.. Its about the bride, not their business… and the games distract from the event… i've known a few brides who wish they didn't have games, but that was after the weddings were over…

as a photographer, i help the dj run the schedule, making sure we're on time and knowing whats going on.. I also usually have about 3 cameras on my person along with 2-3 extra lenses… i have always used the djs table to keep my extra lens or something on just so i can grab it at the time and not have to rummage through a bag..

last time they were at Avalon, i tried to borrow a small corner of the table and he got very upset… odd though, he never could understand that not only did i own the table his stuff was on, but i also owned the property he was standing on… he didn't care…

my favorite djs are www.downtowneventservicesllc.com..
