There used to be a small bison herd outside of town, probably owned by TAMU...haven't seen it around in years though.

Been to both- no buffalo/bison meat at either. :-/
There was bison at Tower point late last week, I saw it. You might wait a couple days for them to restock or call the butcher.
There was bison at Bryan HEB and Brazos Natural Foods yesterday.
Lucky B is the place, but suggest calling first before you head out there.
Saw buffalo/bison ground at the Kroger on Rock Prairie.
Bison is available at HEB on Texas in CS.
Happy to see this much demand for bison around here...hopefully the supply will keep up and increase. Thus far all I've seen is ground and one type of steak but it would be awesome to see other cuts such as tenderloin, ribs, etc. Its the other red meat!

Monk, did you look in the right place at the HEB in CS? The ground bison is over by the fresh meat section where they also have the lamb.
Have you tried Readfield's? I'm not sure if they carry it, but since they are a butcher...
