Does anybody know what type of business this is? Apparently, I suck at google since I haven't found anything useful. Is it a dorm or extended stay facility of some type? TIA

I volunteered there in school. Creepy building at night.

I was born there on the third floor back in 1953.

So really it served as a half-way house for you too, helping you transition to life on the outside.

I'm part of a 2 man comedy team. I set up the jokes for the funny half. Now, I can't break the habit.

Maybe you are just into habits. You were after all, born at St. Joseph's.

Prior to the Horizon it was closed and boarded up for a few years and prior to that it was Greenleaf Hospital (Mental Hospital).

It was at one point (definitely 98-99) an off-campus dorm, as I lived there. Half of the building was for us, the other half was City of Bryan something-or-the-other. It WAS creepy at night...as were the rooms in the basement that still had locks allllllll the way around the doors, some still had padding, and they didn't bother levelling out the sloped floors in the basement prior to making it a game room. The realization hit that I was in the former morgue one night... (The upper floors of the other side still had morgue prep tables in them...
