Corbusier Chevrolet was at the corner of N. Main and 20th St. downtown in the 50's, where Stage Center was later. Sometime in the late 50's or 60's it moved to Texas Avenue where the Justice Center is now and then turned into Tom Light at that location.

There certainly are a lot of incorrect messages in this topic. I worked at Corbusier Chev in the 1960's. It was located at E30th & S. Texas. The Villas machine shop was the former location of Bernath Motors, the Plymouth dealer. The Oldsmobile dealership was located on the East side of North Main between E 19th & E 20th streets. It originally was Brown-Allen Oldsmobile. There is a community theater group in that building now. Dishman Pontiac was not located on Bryan St. It was at the intersection
of W 26th & N.Parker. There is an antique shop in that location now. I also know where the Ford and Chrysler dealerships were located in downtown Bryan if anyone is interested.

Actually the corner of Texas and 29th was the location of my Family's Gas station and Automotive repair shop for over forty years...Seems there was a Midas Muffler just to the south of it for some time and the Corbusier Chevrolet/Tom Light Dealer was next to it.

As I remember, Corbusier was at E. 30th, where my grandmother lived. The new Justice Center, I believe, stretches from E. 29th to E. 31st, which covers the former locations of both Corbusier and the aforementioned service station.

Also, prior to the advent of Highway 6, that was the corner of E. 30th and S. College Avenue. That stretch of College Avenue was renamed Texas Avenue when the highway came through.

I couldn't tell you the exact location but this is my understanding.
