I just had a really nice experience with the staff at the new HEB Pharmacy on 40. They were the only pharmacy in B/CS that were able to fill the prescription. When I arrived, they quickly took the information and told me it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When the scrip was ready, the clerk told me that I could save an additional $15 by getting an HEB card.
I realize they may not be as busy as some of the other pharmacies but they really took the time to explain everything to me. They smiled and said Thank You, which doesn't always happen these days.
Anyway, even though I live all the way in Bryan , I wouldn't hesitate to use their pharmacy again.

please enlighten me as to exactly where there is an HEB on SH47.

do you mean 40? 47 is the road from 21 to 60 and the only real development out there is the Riverside Campus and Health Science Center

I have also had outstanding experiences at that pharmacy!

I've yet to have anything but a superior experience there (and really at all the local HEB's). Only problem is I go in needing two things and end up with a cart after I see new stuff or taste something. Not a terrible problem, I guess!
