Dude, it's a KOBE beef burger. KOBE Beef is at least $20 a pound (if not more) and is known as the World's best beef. $10 is more than fair for what you're getting.

Really? On the occasions that I have had one for lunch, I've been so stuffed I skipped dinner. Totally worth the price. I absolutely love the Texas Kobe Burger from Chef Tai.
BTW: the Summer Wrap with steak is delicious!
I visit both food trucks quite regularly but have to say that I have been fairly unimpressed with the Kobe burger. The meat does not taste any different to me and I'm just not that crazy about the overall taste of the entire burger. Plus, you don't get anything but the burger itself. Yes, it's a larger burger. But I like the fact that Pete Madden gives you a slightly smaller burger (which I actually find to be more flavorful) along with a generous serving of fries. And it isn't smushed together in a foil wrapper and thrown at you. It's better presented IMO. To each his own though. I still love the food served on Chef Tai's truck and eat there as often as possible.
Chef Tai's Kobe burger is allsome! The only one better in town is Stover Bros. burger.
