I washed my car today and found specks of paint all over my vehicle. I remember the apartment complex doing some repainting with spray paint a week ago. Should I contact the apartment about this?

@Scruffy - no warning or mention of repainting

Was yours the only car damaged? The apartment complex will probably defer you to the painting company if they hired one...in which case they may be able to help you with the damages. If neither of them will take responsibility, then your insurance should cover it, subject to your deductible.

My question...why in the world do you need to get on texags to ask if you should call the apt? I'm sorry...lol...I just don't get it sometimes. Well put my vote down for no. You should NOT call, just try to sprinkle some more paint on any spots they might have missed so it evens out. You wouldn't want anyone to notice you got hosed on your new pimped out paint job.

If you don't want to mess with it, and your vehicle was clean or reasonably waxed before, try to claybar it and see if that pulls it off.
