and now that greenvax is growing tobacco for creating innoculations, is it possible in the future we can get our flu shot from smoking a cigar? that would cool

Vmat...

Don't know of any flu shot via cigar, though I certainly think it is neat that they are using tobacco for medical purposes.

As regards Texas tobacco, I have often wondered how that would manifest itself, though I have not seen any cigar made with Texas grown tobacco. Theoretically, you could certainly grow tobacco in Texas. Some of the best maduro cigar wrapper leaf in the world comes from the San Andres Valley in Mexico (near Monterrey), not four hours from our southern border.

The only American tobacco that ever makes it into handrolled premium cigars is from the Connecticut River Valley in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the broadleaf maduro and shade-grown wrappers being among the best in the world in their categories. I carry cigars with both wrappers.

As far as anything like a "Texas cigar," I guess the closest you would get is the Kinky Friedman line, which is promoted with Kinky's Texas fame. I carry all of those.

Some cigars are also made in Texas in small stores in a few scattered places throughout the state. It is pretty likely that before too long, I will carry a few lines from Bobalu in Austin.

Hope that answers your question! You can always stop by and ask anything and I will do what I can to help.

Sign at Hullabaloos says that they now have a cigar bar? I thought the county commissioners outlawed smoking in public. (Or did they create one outside on a patio?)

Bobalu makes some cool cigars. Not a huge fan of the places that roll their own, but bobalu's changed my perspective.

Are staff members still taking lit cigars into the humidor?

Last time I was there I couldn't smell any of the cigars in the humidor due to all of the smoke inside of it from a staff member I saw walking in and out of the humidor with a lit cigar in hand.

The staff is welcome to have a cigar as long as it does not interfere with the job. As far as taking lit cigars into the humidor, my preference is always against it though I have not made it a rule. I will consider doing that and certainly mention it to them.

I would mention that we have gone through some day-to-day personnel changes that have made a significant difference in the level of customer service. Also, I am now in the store just about every day to keep a close eye on things.

But if ever you have a problem like that, do not hesitate to give me a call so that I can remedy it and get you something for your troubles; I try to guarantee a good experience for my customers.
