What are some?

I know of Jose's 6 dollar enchilada, combo, taco plates.
I know of 7 dollar meals at Boston's...
Sodalaks has a good lunch menu..

But I really don't know of a lot of places with lunch specials!

A number of Fox & Hound's sandwiches and fish & chips are $5.99 between 11 and 2. Today, of course (Thursday) also is $2 pints. It's pretty quiet and lots of sports to watch.

Boston Gourmet Pizza also has lunch specials. So does Buffalo Wild Wings.

Downtown, Cafe Capri's lunches are very, very reasonable.

At Yesterday's you can get their lunch special and an hour of free pool.

Harvey Washbangers has daily lunch specials.

Polly's Cocina (Mi Cocina) off of GB. Lunch meal, drink and tip, $7.

+1 for Polly's Cocina plus the food is great and fast service. I have only been to the one on 21 so I don't know about the others.

The one on SW parkway is great as well(Polly's cocina)

Walk through Sam's when they're giving out samples. Can't beat free.

Since cheap is specified, here's some end-of-the-month-out-of-cash suggestions:

- Taco Cabana black bean burrito (get on a plate and add sauces, cilantro, pico, jalapenos), with water, $2.19

- 4 Jack-in-the-Box tacos with water, add sauce, $2
