I have been given directions to post that the dry grocery section has opened today. Meaning shelf stocked items, no specialty departments yet, like frozen foods, deli, bakery. Although those are to open very soon.

I am actually excited about the change to this Walmart! Funny thing to be excited about a Walmart, but I have lived quite close to this Walmart for 6 years now, however probably went so few times you could count it on 1 hand. It was a terrible Walmart, dirty, disorganized, drabby, just plain bad. I would drive further to the Bryan Super Center, not that that is a great Walmart either, but it was definitely nicer than the CS one, if I had to go to Walmart. I have been 2 times in the last couple of weeks (made it to 2 hands now!) and was quite impressed not only by the look on the outside but the inside is looking nice and cleaner! It will be nice to have a store like that right next door and more convenient to me!

LOL TG. .. you coulda been going to that one on Rock Prairie all this time if only they had let it be built.

they do have frozen foods open, but none of the other specialty departments open. starting to really look good
