Try John Deer Landscape out on Hwy 30...they have a pretty good selection
Drive 20 mins to Navasota and go to Martha's Bloomers.
I second Martha's Bloomers - great selection and my favorite store! You can also check out America's Country Store in Wellborn if you know what you're looking for. Lowes is another of my favorite places - check out their clearance racks, lots of great plants that just want a little water and TLC!
Go to the country store in Wellborn. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable there. Ask for Anne.

Martha's Bloomers is a tad expensive.
My wife and I have hit up just about every place within a 1.5 hour radius.
Lowe's and Martha's are our main places to visit. You may try Producer's Cooperative too. We also like Nelson's Water Gardens (Katy) and Antique Rose Emporium (Independence) for day trips.

Wheel through Country Store on your way to Martha's. Inventory can be spotty but sometimes they get some real good plants.
