I have used Dr Davis at S&W for 14 years and three kids! He is a wonderful, honest doctor. A++++

I have gone to Dr. Zivney for 8 years and he delivered my daughter. He was very proactive after her birth when I went through post-partum depression. At one point he had me come in just to make sure I was doing okay -- he wanted to see for himself. I think that says a lot about how he treats his patients.

He delivered My son. I hope this is the last time I will ever cross his path. That is all I have to say...hope it says enough.

Dr. Harrell at S&W is absolutely fantastic. I attended many appointments and she delivered one of our boys. Really great doctor/person. Super sweet.

I would say, by what I've read here that the only efforts to discredit Benson have been orchestrated by himself.

Wow! I had no idea there were so many complaints against Dr. Benson. This really surprises me!

I have been a patient of Dr. Benson's since January of this year. I am high-risk and pregnant with my second child. He's been wonderful to me. He is very open to all options with my care and says "I'm the boss" and can refuse anything that I do not want. His office always has an appointment available when I need it. He even spends 20-30 minutes with me during appointments to go over any of my concerns. He's really great and I actually look forward to my discussions with him. So all of these complaints really surprise me! I had no idea!

I had Dr. Gayle with my first and did not have good experiences with him, but I have heard a lot of people just love him.

My wife has been a patient of his for almost ten years and we have no complaints.

he always has an appt when you need it because he hardly has anymore patients....and let me guess...you are probably gonna have to have a c-section...

You need to get complication rates for the last year he had privileges at St. Joseph's. Google Dr Benson and BCS Eagle and find the articles that show his suspension. Get records for the year prior to that.

Many people know more details, but cannot say on this forum. I would suggest the Women's Center (Doss, Dawson, Jansky). Plus there are many other good Physicians that have been recommended in this thread.

I just can't understand why so many people would voice their opinions with such hatred. Isn't it easy enough just to say you would or would not recommend someone. The internet is full of information, if you were smart you would just do your research and not visit a formum like this to make your healthcare decisions. They must be doing something right in his office because they are busy all the time. I have personal experience with him and his office and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Sounds like there are a few posters who just have a personal vendetta.

Too true. A forum is probably not the best place to get this kind of advice.

Everyone will think THEIR Dr. is the best. Who would go to second best or worse?

As far as complaints, people are all too quick (especially in this setting) to vent and gripe and complain about something but rarely do they compliment.

Anger is the fuel for many posts online, not happiness.
