If you ask nicely, and If we're not slammed busy, we will give you one for free. If we are busy, then the guys will let you know. They are good. That's all I will say.

What are white trash donuts? I'm intrigued. Although I can't have one for a long time because I'm only 20 days into P90X and the nutrition plan. No delicious food for quite some time.

Square One recently won Best Dessert at The Epicurean Event, and I'm telling you objectively that the White Trash Donuts are as good.

For the record, they are donuts, fried in sweet potato oil, doused in powdered sugar(like a beignet) and soaked in a tres leches sauce. Crackilicuous.

Ok, I missed all the Square One threads. I gotta go try it out. anything CMac does is worth a try.

To be the downer, are these items all going on the menu permanently? I've heard talk of most of these items being offered, some a specific day each week, but they're never in stock when I get there to order them. Is that finally going to change?

For the record, I've tried the tortas and the donuts, and both were fantastic. I'd just toss out that I'd rather not see them advertised unless there's a very significant improvement in actually having them this time around. There's very little more annoying than going somewhere specifically with one thing in mind only to find out that the place is out of stock for said menu item.

Btw, loved square one for lunch! When are you adding the philly cheasesteak permanantly? It's still been elusive to me.

We are putting in our new menu when it finishes design, which should be pretty soon, as in less than 2 weeks. The stuff I mentioned earlier, will be full-time menu items.

I have to agree cmac I know its hard to diversify your menu so much. Especially when your at your peak hours.

But I have tried a couple of times to get them and cant.

Also i would like to say im sorry for coming in there with a 6 pack yesterday a little drunkenly and scaring your customers.

OverR, you get a pass. BYOB. Gotta love it.. I would rather be remembered for our food, than cheap drinks, though.

After Chilifest, as many drunk college folk as the eye could see, descended upon us. Nothing can ever be that crazy.. We wouldn't allow drinks in, it was so loud.

I walked into a JJs Sandwich shop a while back.....before I got to the counter I proudly announced that I would be having the Philly Cheesesteak......

They told me that they didn't have a Philly Cheesesteak (at a specialty gourmet sandwich shop).

I turned on my heel and walked out.

Donuts are pretty damn good though the dough could stand to be a bit lighter.

OverR, They're meant to be soaked in the tres leches sause, so they gotta be dense, or they just fall apart when you dip them. Donut is kinda the same, but beignet is kinda the product.

We're coming in tonight for dinner for the first time in what seems like forever. Will the donuts and Philly be on the menu? I have never tried either of them. I always seem to come in after you are out of cheesesteaks or on days you don't do donuts.

The donuts are there, unless we run out today, because we are working on timing. The Philly is still not there, until we get our new menu implemented, sorry, sportsfan.
