The CofCS wants to spend a zillion dollars on this, but they don't want to let folks in Wellborn have a say on what happens to their land? Jeez. If Wellborn incorporates, it will actually save the CofCS money and increase the value of everyone's property. We just want the right to vote on what happens to our land. We are not avoiding annexation-- we are pursuing incorporation!

City of CS says they are worried that we won't be able to run our town, that we don't know what we are getting into. Well, we have worked on this for years! I think we have a bigger chance of succeeding- at no cost to CS!- than they do with all that money.
